The wide view from the cape on the surface continues deep underwater. The site in fact has no restrictions on the depth of diving – starting with fairly smooth transitions, the relief of the site goes to depths beyond recreational diving.
The route from the rocky beginning to the plateau with a steep cliff is clearly separated in depth by local dwellings.
Leaving from the beginning of the rocky stones near the shore, you will find yourself on a stone plain, where the depth reaches 10 meters.
Then there is a sharp descent to a field with algae at 18 meters.
The stone formations where lionfish usually hide is located exactly in the middle of the plateau with jetski, which in turn is located at 30 meters.
Starting to climb a little higher, but further along the way to the plateau, over the next field of seaweed, you can see shoals of adult flute fish.
Having reached the plateau, you can look around and enjoy the view of the aforementioned sheer cliff.
The conditions on Konnos allow you to work out the skills necessary for passing any diving course – there is a rather demanding entry into the water, a stone plateau at 10 meters allows you to hone your buoyancy skills, and the depth gradient allows you to perform deep diving.
