Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy

The Dive Center reserves the right to change the dive site without notice due to weather, safety considerations or the suitability of the dive site for diving during the day.
As soon as the ship leaves the port, the dives are considered to be taking place, only if the captain does not consider the dives to be unsafe under the current conditions. Money for missing a dive while on board is non-refundable.
Once the diver has entered the water, the dives are considered to be taking place, only if the instructor does not consider the dive under the current conditions unsafe. Money for classes is not returned if the dives are taking place.
All divers must be in adequate health to dive. If a diver has doubts about their health, they must indicate this in the medical questionnaire by writing “yes” in the appropriate field and then obtain a doctor’s permission to be able to go diving. Be honest when filling out the medical questionnaire.
All divers are advised to purchase a personal diving insurance to cover any hyperbaric therapies if necessary. Our insurance covers only divers taking courses in our dive center.
To sign up for diving, any certified diver must have logged dive within the last 12 months. In the absence of such, diver must complete the Refresh program before signing up for any activity. Great Turtle Diving Center reserves the right to refuse entry and to require the Refresh program.
It is the responsibility of divers to arrive at the dive center at the specified time. If the client is late for the lesson, it will continue without them without a refund.
No refund will be given if the course or program is not completed due to the decisions of the participating diver/client.

Programs and Courses

Before starting any course or program, each candidate is required to complete a medical application. Any “yes” answer on the form obliges the candidate to undergo a medical examination by a doctor and obtain the appropriate permission before starting water activities. If any candidate is found to have completed the medical questionnaire falsely, they will be removed from the course and the course fee will not be refunded. The form can be found online, must be submitted to confirm course enrollment, and can also be found in the eLearning section. If the candidate cannot bring written permission from the doctor, the course fee will not be refunded.
Any non-attendance or tardiness for scheduled sessions will be charged extra by using current missed class rate and may result in a delay in completing the course.
If the client is unable to meet the necessary requirements to complete the practice or theory sessions, the dive center reserves the right, at the instructor’s sole discretion, to charge a price for repeat dives or sessions. The rate will depend on the type of dives or sessions required to practice to meet the requirements.
In the event of a change of divesites, which may occur due to weather conditions, the number of divers or their level of experience, divers will be notified in advance.
Any refund in other cases is solely at the discretion of the dive center management.
Students/clients are required to complete the necessary requirements to complete the practical and theoretical portions of the courses in order to obtain certification.
In case of failure to fulfill the necessary requirements, a refund is not provided.
If the client wants to cancel the course more than 7 days before the start of the course, all funds will be returned to him except for 10% of the cost for the reservation, as well as any already purchased training materials (including eLearning).
If the period is less than 7 days, 20% of the cost will be charged for the reservation, as well as any already purchased learning materials (including eLearning).
