Rescue + EFR
Rescue + EFR
The Rescue Diver course teaches you how to prevent and deal with problematic situations in diving.
By completing this course, you will be able to identify problems early and learn emergency procedures.
The subject of study is important, but the classes on it are not burdensome.
The Rescue Diver course is the favorite course of most divers who passed it or passed courses above.
The duration of the course is 3 days. First, you will study 10 topics, including:
Self-rescue and diver stress
Dive first aid
Swimming and non-swimming rescue techniques
Emergency management and equipment
Panicked diver response
Missing diver procedures
Surfacing the unconscious diver
In-water rescue breathing protocols
First aid procedures for pressure related accidents
After studying the theory, 2 scenarios are waiting for you, close to real conditions.
Be vigilant – the instructor must make sure that you are prepared for the unexpected that can happen underwater.
You can study all the necessary theoretical material online, and then do an internship with us.
By the end of the course, you will be able to handle almost any difficult situation that may arise in the water or on the surface.
The Emergency First Response course prepares you for situations where people need immediate medical attention.
You will be provided with a textbook that you can study at your own pace.
Then you will have practice in non-stressful conditions for a good consolidation of the theory.
This course is not limited by age, but awareness and understanding of the material is required.
Theory and exercises are divided into 3 parts:
Primary Care – in this part we will teach you 9 skills that are used when the victim is not observed, for example, breathing or heartbeat. You will also learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to monitor the patient afterwards to increase the chances of survival.
Secondary Care (First Aid) – in this section you will learn more about how to help the victim when nothing directly threatens his life. Medical care may be late or unable to reach the scene of the accident, in which case you will know how to relieve pain and reduce the risk of further complications.
CPR & AED (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automatic external difibrillator) – This part delves into the practice of CPR and the use of AEDs.
The EFR course is great for the whole family!
